BVA hoping to resume it’s 2024 season next month

It’s likely that early next month, the Barbados Volleyball Association may be able to resume its 2024 Division One League competition.

Due to the unavailbility of the Wildey Gymnasium, as it hosted various other events, the league had to be postponed in late November after just three days of games were completed, leaving the association without a venue to play their top-tier inter-club competition.

Speaking to CBC Sports, 2nd Vice President of the BVA Roxanne Forte, said dates for early February through to April have been provisionally indicated as available to use to gym, but the gym’s unavailability is an issue they have been plagued with over the past few years.
