Barbadians are able to purchase their fruits and vegetables to prepare their favourite meals for the Yuletide season.
Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security Indar Weir tells CBC News the island again has adequate supplies of fruits and vegetables, despite facing shortages in recent months.
He adds a boat has recently resumed bringing produce from St. Vincent to Barbados on a weekly basis.
Minister Weir says as soon as the new year turns his Ministry will be ramping up efforts to improve food security on the island.
