President of the Democratic Labour Party Senator Andre Worrell describes National Hero and Father of Independence the Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow, as the ultimate parliamentarian and a visionary.
He says there are a number of things Mr. Barrow spoke of during his reign as Prime Minister which are still applicable today.
And Mr. Worrell says the same self-actualisation Mr. Barrow championed, must be done by today’s youth, especially in the area of education.
He was also a guest on today’s Mornin’ Barbados.
Mr. Worrell notes the DLP will be hosting a number of events in Mr. Barrow’s honour.
Celebrations began with a church service yesterday, and will continue with the Errol Barrow Memorial Lecture this evening at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination.
