A Government Minister is making it clear We Gatherin’ 2025 is not just about parties and celebrations.
Minister in the Ministry of the Prime Minister’s Office with Responsibility for Culture Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight says the initiative is for Barbadians to increase their sense of national identity and allow visitors and locals alike to reconnect with the island’s culture and heritage.
Minister Munro-Knight was addressing the opening of the St. Lucy Heritage Centre on the compound of the St. Lucy Parish Church.
She says the initiative is not only a clarion call for Barbadians in the diaspora to come home, but also for those living here to support the activities in each parish.
