Barbados set to become the hub for cybersecurity training

Barbados is set to become the hub for cybersecurity training throughout the region.

This is according to President of Digital Technologies and Services Neil Hinds, who says they are working towards accomplishing this within the coming months.

He tells CBC News following the conclusion of the Caribbean Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Summit 2025, the technical team was impressed by the sessions with both the private and public sectors, propelling the decision which will benefit both law enforcement and private entities.

And Mr. Hinds says the training which will be conducted over a two-week period, will be internationally accredited.
