Former national footballer, coach and commentator, Keith “Grell” Griffith has passed at age 80.
Versatile in sports, Griffith was also a former national road tennis champion, a sport that he was also a commentator and analyst for the CBC and other broadcasters.
With many saddened by the news, President of the Barbados Football Association, Randy Harris, said Griffith, who was also a technical director at the BFA , played a major role in developing the sport locally.
Friend and fellow commentator, Andi Thornhill says Griffith was the best in the field.
