A leading cyber security expert has suggested that a regional task force be set up to deal with cyber terrorism and threats throughout the region.
This is according to President of Digital Technologies and Services Neil Hinds.
He says the attacks being experienced by Barbados and the region at large are a precursor to similar attacks against G7 countries using the region’s vulnerable infrastructure.
Mr. Hinds was speaking during the conclusion of the Caribbean Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Summit 2025.
