The second term of 2024 got off to a smooth start for thousands of students and teachers, even though one primary school had to be closed early due to lack of water.
This update is coming from Deputy Chief Education Officer Julia Beckles who explained there was a difficulty with a valve on water tank at Hillaby Turner’s Hall.
Ms. Beckles says the matter at Hillaby Turner’s Hall has been resolved and classes will resume at that institution this morning.
She thanks students, parents, staff and other stakeholders for their patience and understanding.
