Police identify shooting victims

The Barbados Police Service is carrying out investigations into a shooting incident, which occurred around 1:55 a.m. today, Monday, January 6, 2025, in South District, St. George.

Police have identified the victims as a 36-year-old male, who was contracted to drive home employees of an establishment and a 53-year-old female, an employee of the establishment, who was the front seat passenger. They were both shot multiple times by an unknown male in a white motor car with unknown registration.

The victims were subsequently transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. Investigations are continuing into this matter.

Anyone, who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations, is asked to call the District ‘B’ Police Station at 437-4311, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.

Police stress that all information received will be strictly confidential.
