Vendors reap favourable sales this Christmas season

Despite a scarcity of local produce, vendors were able to reap favourable sales this Christmas season.

President of the Barbados Association of Retailers, Vendors and Entrepreneurs Alistair Alexander tells CBC News vendors were able to sell imported fruits and vegetables.

Mr. Alexander says vendors are now looking forward to a productive 2025 when locally grown produce become plentiful again.

He says vendors are also hoping to benefit from We Gatherin’ 2025.
