The Salvation Army is appealing to corporate Barbados and citizens to continue to contribute to its 2024 Christmas Appeal.
Divisional Business Manager Sherma Evelyn tells CBC News the Army is moving closer to the $850,000 target it wants to raise this year.
Ms. Evelyn is issuing the reminder that the money raised through the Appeal plays a major role in helping the non-profit organisation to fund its programmes throughout the year.
She says every year the programmes grow to meet the needs of the increasing number of Barbadians reaching out for help.
