Visibility across the island is expected to gradually worsen today, as a plume of Sahara dust affects the island.
As such, the Barbados Meteorological Services has issued a Significant Dust Haze Advisory.
Meteorologist Cherise Brathwaite says the plume will increase in intensity from late tonight into tomorrow Tuesday.
During that time, a yellow cast will be visible across the skies.
The MET Office is urging people to be cautious as the dust haze affects the island.
