Barbadian Luis-Sebastien Weekes was stopped at the preliminary stage in the Men’s 100 Metre Breaststroke at the World Aquatics Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest yesterday.
Swimming out in heat three, Weekes was 8th in one minute 2.96 seconds, which wasn’t fast enough to advance to the semifinals.
His next event will be the Men’s 50m breaststroke on Saturday.
Also in action on Saturday will be Christien Kelly in the Men’s 50m freestyle, while Danielle Titus will compete on Sunday in the Women’s 200m backstroke.
