Although Barbados has seen an overall reduction in the number of fires this year, the issue of house fires is still a concern for the Barbados Fire Service.
That sub-category, according to Station Officer Damian Bayne, recorded a slight increase, compared to the same period last year.

Station Officer Angela Riveira provided a breakdown of the causes of house fires and asked Barbadians to be vigilant this yuletide season to ensure fire incidents do not occur.
