Top Barbadian car racing driver Zane Maloney, finished 12th in his Formula E debut today in the Sao Paulo ePrix.
Starting in 19th position, the 20-year-old Maloney, driving for Lola Yamaha ABT, climbed into the top 10 before dropping two positions.
Damian Hall of Creative Drones Inc. told CBC Sports Maloney received a drive-through penalty for over-powering, which exceeded the maximum regulated power output during the race.
The winner was Kiwi Mitch Evans of Jaguar TCS Racing, who stormed from last to first.
