A fourth community football hub was launched yesterday at the Passage Road ground by the Barbados Football Association.
It’s part of the continued roll out of the National Peace Programme in collaboration with the Government of Barbados.
The BFA is contributing to the Peace Programme by conducting on-field sessions of basic football skills, along with off-field sessions which include social media awareness and conflict resolution, that are designed to educate, inspire, and empower young people.
These hubs can also be found in Pinelands, Deacons and Eden Lodge.
Leading the project is BFA Special Projects Coordinator Amanda James, who says the BFA is delighted to collaborate with the NPP and local communities.
