Fire bug strikes three times

Fire officers were kept busy today, battling three fires.

In the first, which occurred at Braggs Hill, St. Joseph, a stone structure and all of its contents were destroyed.

Two fire tenders from the St. John and Arch Hall stations, with ten officers under the command of Station Officer Elridge Straker, responded to the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Hours later, a team of officers with three fire tenders, led by Divisional Officer Tremelle Perch and Station Officer Angella Reveira, responded to a fire at Water Street, Christ Church.

Two structures were destroyed and the nearby Liquido Bar damaged.

About an hour later, another team including 12 officers, led by Mr. Perch and Station Officer Emmerson White, responded to a blaze in Bayville, St. Michael.

One house was destroyed, and two slightly damaged.

Investigations are continuing.
