Public warned not to purchase free PM’s Cup tickets

Organisers of the Prime Minister’s Cup are advising Barbadians not to purchase tickets for the final, scheduled to take place at Kensington Oval tomorrow evening.

Project Manager for the tournament, Shane Archer tells CBC News police are investigating reports that people, including a St. Philip-based business, are selling tickets which were distributed to the public free of cost.

However, he says in the meantime, provisions are being put in place to ensure people get into the Oval.

He further explains the arrangements organisers are putting in place.

Archer also says all systems are go for the final, which is promising to be an epic evening of football, live entertainment, and family fun.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., there will be a Barbados Legends vs Caribbean Legends match at 6:00 p.m., with the Brittons Hill vs UWI Blackbirds final set to kick off at 8:30 p.m.
