Police investigations are ongoing into a fatal stabbing in the early hours of this morning at Cave Land, St. Philip.
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Vincent Gooding of Rices, also in St. Philip.
Police say Operations Control Room received a report about 12:59 a.m. that a male had collasped with what appeared to be stab wounds.
On responding, personnel from the District ‘C’ Police Station found Gooding lying motionless on the ground.
Preliminary investigations revealed he was liming with a group of people in the area of a shop when he became involved in a dispute, resulting in him being stabbed about his body.
Gooding was pronounced dead at the scene.
