Barbados will welcome the third cohort of registered nurses from Ghana tomorrow.
They will be arriving via a chartered flight.
A welcome ceremony is planned at the Grace Adams suite of the Grantley Adams International Airport for 11:30 a.m.
Hospital and diplomatic officials along with Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Health will be in attendance.
The recruitment drive was conducted in August and, according to Ghanaian officials, generated significant interest among healthcare professionals.
Since 2022, about four hundred nurses have come to work in Barbados.
