Local gymnasts to compete in highly anticipated Trident Classic

The island’s top junior gymnasts are set to compete tomorrow in the highly anticipated Trident Classic. The Bajan rising stars will go up against teams from Trinidad and the USA in tumbling, USAG artistic, and USAG Xcel gymnastics. Coach Alison Jackson says training has been going well. From the training, Coach Jackson has high expectations. The Trident Classic begins at 9 a.m. at the Wildey Gym.

Retailers warn of higher prices as US Imposes 10% tariff

Retailers are predicting that Barbadians may be paying more for imported food and goods in a matter of weeks if the Donald Trump administration does not reverse its decision to impose a baseline 10% tariff on Barbados. And many of them believe the tariff is generally a bad move for local businesses and also those in the United States of America.
