With 23 medals, 2 pro cards and an overall 2nd place finish, the Barbados 17-member team returned home after competiting at the 2024 Central American and Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Guyana. They were greeted at the Grantley Adams International Airport to warm greetings from friends and family. Speaking on their arrival, President of the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation Dr. Alfred Sparman told CBC Sports it was an exceptional performance from the entire team. The two new Pro ranks to the sport are Bukkiah Providence, who captured the Men’s Physique title, and Danielle Holder in her first turn out at the regional level.
