CPL now down to the final four

The Republic Bank CPL is now down to the final four teams positioning themselves for the playoffs with St. Lucia Kings leading on 10 points. Last night, Trinbago Knight Riders joined Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors on 10 points, but their net run rate has them in fourth place. Guyana Amazon Warriors, Royals, and TKR have eight points each, but Warriors have the superior net run rate, followed by Toyals, then TKR. TKR and Warriors have a game in hand, but any of the four teams can still finish first. With the Patriots and the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons already eliminated, and having completed their 10 preliminary matches, the four playoff teams are known. And the battle for seedings in the playoffs resumes tomorrow, with TKR taking on the kings at the Brian Lara stadium from 10 a.m. It’ll be live on CBC TV8 and also on MCTV’s Sportsmax channel 310.
